The day began with the Bride and her Bridesmaids and her parents’ house. The morning went so quickly and before we knew it, we were headed to the ceremony at Carey College in Forestdale for the 2pm service. The lights were dimmed stage lights were ready and then she arrived. Nick could not stop smiling. After the I do’s it was time for the location photographs. After wrapping up the afternoon, with out getting wet, we headed to the reception held at Rose Hill Country Club for a 6pm reception.

Their meeting is a true love story. They meet in year seven and have been together ever since. I love that they have spent most of their lives together and now they are together for the rest of their lives. The ceremony and reception was held at Rigby’s in the Forest Centre, right in the heart of the Perth CBD. I had the pleasure of meeting Lee-Anne and Michael only a month prior to their wedding day and I have been so excited ever since, I simply LOVE doing CBD weddings. After the “I do’s” we hit the streets. The city is so beautiful and it really has everything. After we had walked the leg of the city, we all jumped in the limo and took a spin to the Boat Shed. We finished up the afternoon at the Pines in Kings Park before heading back to Rigby’s for the reception. It was a fantastic day and everyone had a lot of fun.

I watched the weather channel all week ready for the wedding and the temperature kept reading hotter and hotter. Then the big day arrived and yes, it was 37 degrees. To the relief of most of the guests and myself, the ceremony was held under the gazebo at Queens Gardens. After the I do’s we headed off to East Perth and then to the foreshore of the Swan river for the final location photographs. Soon enough it was time to head into the reception at the Mecure Hotel at 6pm.

I have yet to meet such a lovely easy going couple as Marissa and Steve. Marissa has to be the easiest going bride on the planet. Steve is equally as cruisey, and together they are very much in love and make the cutest kids on earth. Their wedding was held at 4pm at the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club in Ocean Reef. The location is amazing, you have 180 degree views of the ocean. After the I do’s, the family hugs and kisses, we quickly started on the location photographs and before we knew it, it was time to head into the reception at 6pm. Enjoy your honeymoon and thanks for a great afternoon.

What a dilemma, the red bull air race or a wedding, which one should I attend? Well luckily in the case of Amy and Josh, I didn’t have to choose, as there wedding was held in Kings Park at the water garden pavilion so I got to witness both. After the I do’s we headed off to our first location at the blue boat shed in crawley, followed by Matilda Bay foreshore and UWA. The afternoon went so quickly and before long it was time to make our way down to the Paddle Steamer Decoy for the reception. It was a perfect for a night on the river, and everyone had a great time.

The Chicken dance has made a come back!
This wedding was so exciting for me. Roxien has been a long time friend of mine for years, and I was so excited to be photographing her wedding day. I was a little mean to her, as when I caught up with her at the Bridal expo back in Feb, I insisted on photographing her wedding as I never ever get to see any of my friends get married anymore as I am always working at other people’s weddings. So this is where me being super mean comes into play, I make her change her wedding date to suit me so I can photograph her and Murray’s wedding. Evil I know!!! So the big day is here and the ceremony was held at Mulberry on the Swan in the Swan Valley. The ceremony was over before Rox could blink, and then it hit her, OMG im married!! Soon after we started on the location photographs and the bridal party headed around the front of the venue, and in came the rain. We managed to get most of the photographs taken after the massive rain storm, but the wind was ice cold and the bridesmaids were frozen by the time we had finished, evil again I know!!! We raced inside to the toasty reception where they soon all defrosted, and sort of still liked me. Overall the day was beautiful, and I am so happy that I got to witness a dear friend and her husband start there life together, with there super cute daughter Dakoda. Thanks again guys for having me it was a lot of fun, enjoy your honeymoon.

Shelley and Mark tied the knot at the very picturesque Rosehill Country Club in South Guilford on Saturday. The weather looked at little dicey for there 5pm ceremony, but with everyone’s fingers and toes crossed, the ceremony was rain free. After the formalities, we had the luxury of wandering around the country club grounds and then it was time to enter the reception at 6.15pm.

Well Sarah and Steve’s wedding was my third wedding for the week, and the weather at all three weddings couldn’t have been any better. Sarah and Steve’s coverage began at St Mathews Anglican Church in Shenton Park at 11am. This was my first time attending St Mathews, and if any couples are after that beautiful intimate church wedding, then this church may be the church for you. After the i-do’s we headed over to Kings Park for the location photographs, and then into the reception at Frasier’s for a 1.30pm sit down lunch.
